National Gratitude Month, November 11

At least some of the days this month, we’re sharing things we’re thankful for. Today, from Honey:

“I’m thankful for individuals whose resistance to WWI conscription led to the legal recognition of the rights of conscientious objectors.”

About 10% of Mennonites who refused to serve in World War I were imprisoned in Fort Leavenworth; other COs went to Alcatraz.
